Edo State Govt retracts letter issued to announce the approval of the appointment of the new Oba of Benin
Following the passing of the Oba of Benin, Omo n'Oba n'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa I, Edo state government announced today that it has approved the appointment of His Royal Highness Edaiken N’Uselu, Crown Prince Eheneden Erediauwa as the new Oba of Benin. The government have now withdrawn the letter earlier issued, saying it was released in error.
